The Government is losing its grip on the country, as one sector after another announces its intention to strike.
Doctors are next in line, as the Irish Medical Organisation is demanding the restoration of €3,000 ‘living out allowance’ for non-consultant hospital doctors.
The HSE has so far refused to comply, so the organisation is now resorting to the High Court to settle the dispute, and doctors have not ruled out further action if their goals are not achieved.
