The Government’s inability/unwillingness to tackle any crisis is being made blatantly clear yet again, as sergeants and inspectors have announced that they will be joining their rank-and-file colleagues in the upcoming strike action.
Up to now, only rank-and-file gardai were due to stage industrial action during four dates in November.
It is understood that individual members of the Association of Garda Sergeants and Inspectors (AGSI) have shown their intention to join their colleagues in the lower ranks.
Industrial action will commence on Friday, October 21.
