Witnesses of today’s attack in New York say that they heard the suspect shouting ‘Allahu Akbar’, after he drove a truck on the curb of a busy Manhattan street.
At least 9 people are confirmed dead, and scores more injured after the incident, which is being treated as a terrorist attack.
The suspect was shot and incapacitated by police before being taken into custody.
