Gardaí in Co Kerry have sadly confirmed that an elderly woman aged in her 70s has sadly passed away following a single vehicle collision this morning.
It is understood the woman died after the vehicle she was travelling in collided with a wall in Farranwilliam, Ardfert, at approximately 11.25am.
It is understood no one else was injured in the collision, Gardai added that the woman’s body has since been transferred to University Hospital Tralee where a post-mortem examination will take place.
