Gardai in Co Clare have confirmed that a woman was arrested after she blocked traffic on a busy motorway.
According to The Irish Times, the woman was arrested after she blocked traffic on the M18 for over an hour on Friday.
The Irish Times reports that the woman was seen dancing whilst singing republican songs” including ‘Come Out Ye Black and Tans.
It is believed that the woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
The incident which was seen by a number of eyewitnesses is believed to have occurred on a stretch of motorway between Newmarket on Fergus and Dromoland.
