A 38-yr-old woman accused of murdering her elderly friend has been caught by CCTV towing a large suitcase containing her body, a court has heard.

Jemma Mitchell is said to have beaten 67-yr-old Mee Kuen Chong to death with a “blunt object” at her home in Wembley, north London, before beheading her in June last year.

Her body was found 200 miles away in a Devon wood two weeks later, while her head was discovered in nearby bushes a few days later.

The court heard that Mitchell, who denies the murder, had received training in human dissection and had a dispute with Ms Chong over money.

According to Metro, she arrived at 8.01am and left about five hours later with the suitcase and another bag containing the victim’s financial documents, the Old Bailey heard.

That night she was treated in hospital for a broken finger and said she got it locked in a door.

The accused murderer walked the streets for two hours with a bulky suitcase, the court heard.

Other footage reportedly showed Mitchell stopping her Volvo near Bristol and then driving it into a Co-op garage near Salcombe with a flat tyre.

After a tire change, the car was seen on a road a few meters from where Ms. Chong’s body was found.

Mitchell, a devout Christian, had studied osteopathy and her professional website said she was “attuned to subjects in neuroanatomy, genetics and dissection of human cadavers’” the jury said, reports Metro.

After working as an osteopath in Australia for seven years, she returned to the UK and has not returned to work since, the Old Bailey has learned.

It is said that she was living with her mother in a run-down house in Brent when she became friends with Mrs. Chong through the church.

According to Metro, Ms Chong, who has been described as vulnerable due to concerns about her mental well-being, agreed to hand over ÂŁ200,000 to help with repairs before changing her mind, prosecutors say. The trial goes on.
