A woman gave birth yesterday after going into labour while visiting a social welfare office in Dublin.
Staff at the Gardiner Street Office assisted the 25-year-old woman until paramedics arrived.
A spokesperson for The Department of Social Protection has said that in order to respect the woman’s privacy, no other details have been released.
