This is the startling picture of what happened during last weekend’s alleged attack in Dun Laoghaire, reports The Mirror.
A man and a woman are seen grappling with a third man on the sidewalk of Lower George’s Street in Dun Laoghaire in CCTV footage that has been extensively circulated on social media.
The incident happened on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at around 8 p.m, reports The Mirror.
With the 61-second clip, a man with a black hat is seen grappling with what looks to be a couple. The lady tries to step in as the man in the hat fights with the other man, but both she and the man in the hat lose their balance and tumble onto the road.
A bus can be seen passing by as the woman collapses onto the road. The bus passes over her head within inches of the woman, who collides with the side of the car. The woman is seen lying hurt along the side of the road, but the bus keeps moving out of the picture, reports The Mirror.
As the second man goes to the woman’s rescue, a spectator steps in and pins the man in the hat to the ground.
“Gardaà attended the scene and are investigating following report of an incident of alleged assault on Lower George’s Street, Dun Laoghaire, on Saturday 7th December 2024,” a gardai spokesperson told the Irish Mirror.
