A female pharmacy employee was hospitalised following a robbery in Dublin on Sunday.
It is understood that the woman was hospitalised after a robbery occurred at The Maple Shopping Centre, on the Navan Road, on Sunday afternoon at approximately 1:45pm.
Gardaí say the woman was was slashed with a knife when a woman came in and demanded cash from the tills.
It is believed that she fled the scene with a number of medications a short time later.
Gardaí say the injured woman was taken to hospital with a minor laceration and has since been discharged.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
