A woman in her 50s has passed away following an accident at her home involving a quad bike.
The incident happened in the village of Rathvilly, Co. Carlow, on Monday evening.
The victim, a 52-year-old woman, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Gardai are treating the event as a tragic accident.
