Gardai in Dublin have confirmed that a woman has been injured following a shooting incident this afternoon.
It is understood that the woman sustained a head injury following the incident which occurred in Shangan Park, Ballymun.
Gardai say the woman was taken to hospital, but it is believed that her injuries are not life threatening.
They added no arrests have yet been made.
