Police authorities in the United Arab Emirates have arrested a woman in connection with the disappearance of her boyfriend after a human tooth was discovered in a food blender belonging to him.
It is understood the woman a Moroccan national aged in her 30s, was arrested after the victim’s brother found his tooth inside a food processor after he went looking for him.
According to reports in the UAE, it is alleged that the woman murdered her boyfriend and chopped up his remains before cooking them and serving them to Pakistani workers.
Prosecutors in the case claim that the woman killed her boyfriend of seven years after he told her he wanted to marry another woman.
It is alleged that the woman served her boyfriends remains as part of a meat dish known as machboos.
Although the woman eventually confessed to the murder which occurred in Ali Ain, she previously claimed that she hadn’t seen him after she threw him out of the house for cheating
Police say the woman told them of the crime after DNA results proved that the tooth belonged to her boyfriend.
It is reported that the murder occurred over three months ago and that the woman’s friends helped dispose of his body.
The woman also told police that she killed her boyfriend in a moment of insanity and claimed it was an act of revenge given that she supported him financially for years.
