Gardai in Cork have released released a woman (30s) without charge in relation to the death of a 2-yr-old girl in Cork last Friday, July 5th.
It’s understood that a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) in relation to the tragic death of the baby girl.
A major garda investigation has been carried out since the tragic death of the little girl, including a door to door investigation into the murder of Santina Cawley in Cork city.
It’s understood that emergency personnel found the little girl in critical condition around 5:30am on last Friday morning but tragically she died later that morning in hospital.
