A woman has tragically died in a swimming accident in Co. Down.
The incident happened near the town of Bangor earlier today.
The woman, who was a regular swimmer in the area, was administered CPR at the scene but she could not be saved.
Authorities said that sea conditions would not have been favorable to swimming activities at the time of the accident.
