A woman in America has spoken about how she identifies as a wolf and how this is something that she uses in her job as an investigator of trafficking.

According to the Metro, 27-year-old Naia Okami spoke to ITV’s This Morning about how she feels her identity as a wolf is something “spiritual and psychological”.  Admitting that she knows she is a human being, she said that somehow, spiritually she is a wolf.

Ms. Okami said that she first started identifying as a wolf when she was a child as she kept dreaming that she was one. As she grew older she started to bark and howl in high school but doesn’t do that in her daily life now.

She also spoke about how her job at a nonprofit organisation working to investigate online predators is helped by how she identifies as she says  “I always make the joke that as a wolf I’m hunting my prey – the predators are my prey.”
