Co. Louth woman Patrica Gaughran released a powerful video that soon went viral on social media.
Patricia Gaughran was a public campaigner for a No vote in the abortion referendum this year. She herself open admits to having an abortion and regretting her decision. She campaigned with other women who say they regret their abortion.
Early last week, Fianna Fail’s Lisa Chambers TD had to apologise for her remarks that abortion regret was some sort of makey up thing.
Many people, including Patricia Gaughran took exception to these remarks. Patricia decided to publicly call out Chambers for her remarks and requested to meet her to explain precisely what abortion regret is.
Her video soon gathered momentum and has now been published in various websites along with viral views on social media.
