Woman who tried to open airplane’s emergency exit door gets billed for €95,000

Ever had a bad flight that nearly put you off flying completely? That might be the case for travellers on the same flight as one woman who allegedly tried to open the aircraft doors during the flight.

The woman in question has now been sent a bill for £85,000 after allegedly being accused of various behaviour, including trying to open the emergency doors. She also allegedly tried to force her way into the cockpit and had to be restrained so that the flight could be stabilised.

The plane was also escorted back to Stansted Airport and the hope is that the bill sent to the woman will put other passengers off acting like that in the future.
