In a welcome move it has been revealed that parents of premature babies will receive the right assistance whilst caring for their newborns.
The new programme entitled Better Together guide, will be reportedly setup and will be solely focused on family-centred care and shows new mothers and fathers how they can take a more active role during their baby’s life whilst they are in hospital.
Speaking the new programme a spokesperson for the Irish Neonatal Health Alliance, said they hoped the new imitative would help worried and distraught parents during their difficult time.
