The Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) has today said that both sides must be willing to bring something to the negotiating table, otherwise there is no point in engaging in one-sided talks.
The dispute has seen Luas drivers to walk out of the job for a fourth day today, and more stoppages are planned for next month, including St. Patrick’s Day.
According to the Luas operator, Transdev, the company cannot afford the pay rises asked for by drivers -up to 54% in some cases, over seven years.
The row continues.
