You better wrap up well if you’re planning on going out and about this St. Patrick’s Day weekend, the weather is looking more like winter than spring.
The second storm in a week is set to roll over Britain and Ireland bring heavy rain, strong winds and
potentially snow.
The front named “Storm Hannah” by the Met Office is set to dump as much as eight inches of snow
across the north of England and Ireland as well as Scotland.
Winds as over 110 KM are also expected in Wales, Southern England and Ireland. This newest storm
comes on the back of Storm Gareth that cause widespread disruption uprooting trees and downing
power lines.
Saturday will see the strongest of winds with coastal areas being the worst affected.
There is now the real possibility of a white St. Patricks Day for some parts of the country.
