A local community in Belfast, have been left shocked and worried after two young children discovered a needle and heroin whilst playing on the street in Belfast.
According to Belfast Live, police were informed about the incident after a local resident discovered the children discussing what the item was.
Belfast Live reports that the children who were playing football on the street Shankill area on Sunday, discovered a needle which contained heroin and a spoon believed to have been used to heat up the drug.
Police have since confirmed that they have been notified about the incident and are urging the public to report such incidents immediately.
