A young Cork man who passed away on Sunday after a tragic accident is receiving heartbreaking tributes. In his twenties, Rory James Craig is regarded as a gifted and imaginative vocalist, keyboardist, and performer who was a good friend to everyone, reports The Mirror.

The well-liked Togher native attended the MTU Cork School of Music, participated in performances with the CADA Performing Arts stage school, and delighted crowds at various events around the county.

CADA said their former student was a kind person and they were “honoured” to have known him. A spokesperson said: “It is with devastating sadness to hear of the tragic death of our beloved former pupil Rory Craig. Rory was a member of the Academy for years. Such a talented, creative, kind person and performer. Our deepest sympathies to his beautiful Mum, godmother Anne and all the family. We were so honoured to be part of your short life.
