

A young man has lost a hand in a machete attack in Leeds.
It is understood that the victim, an 18-year-old male, had his right hand severed in the incident, which happened at around 9.30 on Monday night in the Stanks Parade area of Swarcliffe.
The man was taken to hospital, where his condition is said to be serious, but not life-threatening.
No one has been arrested yet in connection with the attack.
