A well-known DJ in the area has been identified as the young man who sadly died in a three-car incident in Galway on Sunday night, reports The Mirror.
Evan Kilmartin, a resident of Indreabhan, tragically lost his life in a multi-vehicle crash in Bearna, Galway, shortly after 11 p.m. on Sunday, according to Galway Beo.
The 22-year-old male was declared dead at the site of the fatal collision. He had been employed at a motel nearby, reports The Mirror.
In Galway, young Evan was a well-known DJ who frequently performed at events around the county.
Evan was also well-known for his charitable endeavours; in 2023, he organised a well publicised event for Cancer Care West that generated €6,000, reports The Mirror.
After a forensic investigation, the Bearna to Na Forbacha road was reopened after being closed all night and well into Monday morning.
Any witnesses to this accident are being urged to come forward by the GardaÃ.
A Garda spokesperson said: “Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area at the time are asked to make this footage available to investigating GardaÃ,” a Garda spokesperson said in a statement.
