A 13-year-old teenager was rushed to hospital after being struck by a car in Celbridge, Co. Kildare, earlier today.
It is understood that the victim was walking over a zebra crossing at the time of the collision, which took place at the junction of Newtown Road and the Dublin Road.
The condition of the boy is unknown at this time.
