Gardaí in Dublin have begun an investigation after a woman aged in her 20s was seriously injured after she was hit by scrambler this afternoon.
It is understood the woman was injured after she was struck by the scrambler at Drimnagh Luas Stop on Davitt Road in Dublin approximately 1.45pm.
Gardaí say the youth and the bike ended up in the the canal.
It is understood the youth then fled the scene via another bike.
Gardai say the young woman was taken to St James’s Hospital with serious injuries.
