In what can only be described as truly shocking, the price of drink has skyrocketed with the so-called cost of living excuse being given for the extortionate prices seen around the country.
According to the Independent, the price of a pint of Guinness in the Temple Bar pub is now €7.95 while the pint of Heineken in the same pub is a whopping €8.95.
There’s now real concern that pints could reach a whopping €10 before the Christmas season kicks off.
