Opel will recall 240,000 Zafira models for a second time, to provide a more ‘permanent’ fix.
The manufacturer issued letters to thousands of owners last year, after becoming aware of a fault in the heating and ventilation system that could lead to fires.
The problem was raised in October 2015 after several Zafira B cars across Europe suddenly burst into flames.
The company will now provide a more ‘permanent’ fix for those vehicles affected.
