If you are scheduled to travel today, check with your airline before turning up at the airport, as Ryanair has today cancelled more than 70 flights to, and passing over France, due to air traffic control strike.

This is the fifth strike in the last 60 days.

Ryanair officials are now calling on the European Commission to intervene, due to the financial impact borne by the airlines as a result of the disruption.
