In the past hour police along with US intelligence officials have confirmed the identity of the Manchester Arena bomber.
It is understood police identified the young man named Slaman Abedi aged 22, after they conducted a search of a premises in Fallowfield Manchester.
Reports say police discovered a number of materials at the premises to suggest that Abedi is the main suspect behind the attack that killed 22 people and injured 59 others.
It is believed Abedi a Manchester born but of Libyan original detonated a nail bomb outside the venue as thousands of young people left an Ariana Grande concert late last night.
