Two-time Oscar nominee and “The Field” actor John Hurt has sadly died aged 77 after a long fight with pancreatic cancer, his agent has confirmed.
The English-born Hollywood legend had a career that spanned six decades and had memorable roles in The Elephant man, The Field and more recently, Harry Potter.
The Harry Potter actor had pancreatic cancer for a couple of years but in October 2015 was given the all clear.
Sadly, tonight, his agent has confirmed that John Hurt has passed away aged 77.
