The British Prime Minister Theresa May has confirmed that the the British Government will provide a £5m relief fund to the victims of the Grenfell tower block fire.
Mrs May’s announcement which was made in the past hour comes as large group of angry residents in the Kensington area have descended on the local town hall looking for answers as to what caused the fatal fire which has now reportedly claimed 70 lives.
The British PM who is coming under increased pressure said the relief fund will be used to provide much needed supplies to those who survived the fatal fire which ripped through the 27 storey building on Tuesday night.
The announcement of the funding comes as tensions are growing amongst those in the local community who are demanding an inquest into what exactly caused the inferno.
