Four people are dead, including the perpetrator, after a gunman opened fire inside Mercy Hospital in Chicago overnight.
Authorities say that the culprit first shot a female doctor outside the facility. It is understood that the victim and the attacker were known to each other. The gunman then entered the hospital and shot two more people dead. The shooter died during a exchange of fire with police officers.
Authorities are treating the incident as an episode of ‘domestic violence.’
Elsewhere in Denver, Colorado, another shooting incident left one person dead and three injured.
