Despite repeal, pro life activists vow to fight on against abortion legislation indefinitely

With over 700,000 people voting against the repeal of the Eighth Amendment yesterday, Pro Life activists have today vowed to fight on against any legislation which will be proposed by the Taoiseach Leo Varadkar and Minister for Health Simon Harris.

Despite pleas from Varadkar to come together, Pro Life activists have declared that they’re “utterly unwilling to compromise on the life of the unborn baby”.

They went on to say that “empty promises from Leo Varadkar are of no value when innocent Irish babies lives is at stake”.

It’s understood that the fight back is to begin early next week and that they’re already examining strategies to deal with the legislation and search for ways to block its introduction.
