There were scenes of hilarity and disbelief inside the Dáil chamber earlier today, as Minister for Transport Shane Ross reportedly voted against the very Road Traffic Bill that he was trying to pass.
The minister soon realized the gaffe and asked for the record to be adjusted.
The Bill aims to introduce legislation to allow for automatic disqualification on a first drink driving offence.
