Engineering company Rolls-Royce has announced that it is to shed 4,600 jobs over the next few months.
The move comes in the wake of problems arising with its Trent 1000 engine.
Cracks and corrosion were found in a number of these engines, which power Boeing 787 jetliners among others.
The company hopes to save up to £400m by the year 2020.
