Fair City writers got a backlash this week after what social media users claim were overtly violent episodes.
One particular episode say Paul Brennan grab his wife, Niamh by the throat and then she retorts by smashing a wine bottle over his head.
The character was knocked out and smashed his head open on the ground which saw Niamh leave him there in a pool of blood.
Meanwhile Katy O’Brien is STILL locked up in that garage by Ciaran. No word yet as to when the young woman will be released after hopes were dashed at Easter when the rumours of her release proved false.
