A father and daughter have been arrested and charged with incest after a baby they allegedly had together died in hospital.
According to FOX Carolina, the pair James Brown and daughter Katlyn Edwards, who are from Charlestown, South Carolina, were arrested after the young baby died in hospital following complications.
It is understood the father and daughter who are said to be having a consensual sexual relationship were arrested after cops investigating the infants death found evidence that proves the relationship occurred.
According to FOX Carolina, the investigation was launched after the pair presented the baby at a local hospital when it became seriously unwell.
Police investigating the case say they are unsure what may have exactly caused the baby’s death, but they believe that the baby died due to complications resulting from the incest relationship.
