Fire breaks out onboard Expressway bus, forcing the evacuation of 40 passengers

An Expressway bus en route from Sligo to Galway caught fire near Charlestown in Co. Mayo, prompting the evacuation of the vehicle.

All passengers and driver got out safely, and the fire was brought under control shortly afterwards.

Passengers were transferred to another bus and resumed their journey.
