Gardaí in Dublin are investigating an incident after a learner driver crashed into the front of a house in Castletymon on Thursday afternoon .
According to The Irish Sun, the investigation comes after extensive damage was caused to the front of the property on Saint Aongus Road.
It is believed that the driver who was preparing for her test lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the front of the house.
Although thankfully none of the occupants were injured in the incident, it is understood that the driver of the car was taken to hospital as a precautionary measure.
Gardaí say an investigation into the incident is currently ongoing.
