Gardaí in Cork city have begun an investigation after a motorcyclist was seriously injured in a road traffic incident on Friday evening.
It is understood the man was seriously injured when he was struck by another vehicle on the Middle Glanmire Road at approximately 5:30pm on Friday evening.
Although the man’s injuries are not life-threatening, he is currently in serious condition in hospital following the incident.
Gardaí say they are appealing for witnesses with any information to come forward and contact them.
