Gardaí in Co Louth have confirmed that a 28 year old woman is in critical condition in hospital following an incident in Drogheda on Saturday night.
The woman who had since been transferred the Beaumont Hospital Dublin, was involved in an incident in the Rathmullen Park area of the town.
Gardai have yet release any details regarding the incident and have said an investigation is currently ongoing.
