Gardaí in Dublin have launched an investigation after a toddler fell from the third floor window of an apartment in Tyrrelstown on Monday evening.
According to the Sun, the investigation comes after the toddler who is believed to be under the age of two, suffered serious injuries during the fall which occurred at approximately 6pm on Monday evening.
Although Gardai say they are currently treating the incident as a tragic accident, they did confirm that they were alerted to the incident just after 6pm on Monday evening.
They also say the young girl was quickly rushed to Temple Street Children’s Hospital where she currently remains serious condition.
