A major Garda investigation is underway this morning following a shooting incident in North Dublin late last night.
The investigation comes after a man aged in his late 20s was shot in James Larkin House flats complex on to North Strand, Dublin at approximatley 9:45pm last night.
Gardai say the man was quickly taken to the Mater Hospital, but he died a short time later.
