Gardaí in Co Cavan have issued an appeal for witnesses to come forward after a man aged in his 40s sadly died in a road traffic incident on Friday evening.
The appeal comes after the man collided with an articulated lorry on the N3 at Bunn in Belturbet at approximately 6.20 pm.
Gardai say the man driving the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene, whilst the driver of the lorry was uninjured in the collision.
