Gardai are this afternoon appealing for witnesses, after a 29-year-old man sustained serious injuries during a stabbing incident in Dublin overnight.
The stabbing occurred during an altercation on the O’Donovan Rossa Bridge near Merchant’s Quay in the capital.
The victim was rushed to hospital, where his injuries are described as ‘serious’ but not life-threatening.
