Gardaí in Cork have confirmed that they have arrested a man following the seizure of €10,000 worth of drugs on Friday afternoon.
The arrest comes after Gardai were called in to investigate suspicious activity at Hazelwood shopping centre in Riverstown, Glanmire at approximately 4pm.
Gardai say the man aged in his late 20s early 30s was arrested after they apprehended him during a hand over.
The man believed to be a foreign national is currently being detained under Section 2 of the Drugs Trafficking act at Mayfield garda station
