A woman aged in her 20s has been arrested after Gardai seized a quantity of cannabis herb worth an estimated €500,000.
The seizure was made after Gardai from the Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau seized the drugs during a search of a vehicle in Blanchardstown on Monday evening.
It is understood the 26-year-old woman was arrested at the scene after Gardai stopped the vehicle on the M50 at approximately 6pm.
Gardaí say the woman is currently being detained at Blanchardstown Garda Station under the provisions of Section 2 Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
