Gardaí have confirmed they have arrested a man in connection with a shooting in Kells, Co. Meath over the weekend.
It is understood the incident occurred at a house in the Archdeaconery area on Saturday afternoon. Gardaí say they arrested a man aged in his 40s and is currently being questioned at Kells Garda Station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
