According to a number of reports this afternoon there has been “serious” crash on the N40 link road near Mahon Point.
Gardaí say the incident which happened about an hour ago involved a truck and three cars.
There are currently no reports of any injuries and Gardaí say an assessment is still being carried out.
It is believed a number of Ambulance, fire services and Gardaí at the scene.
